Driving Directions
From the terminal at Manchester Airport follow the signs to the exit.
At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the M56 spur (signposted M56).
At Junction 5 take the right-hand lane and join the M56 (signposted Manchester, Stockport, M60). Keep right.
At Junction 3A continue onto the A5103 (signposted Manchester City Centre) and branch left to join the M60 motorway (signposted Ring Road (W and N), Liverpool M62, Bolton M61, Leeds M62.
At Junction 15 leave the M60 and join the M61 (signposted Preston, Wigan, Bolton). Keep left and continue the M61 (signposted Preston after 1 mile).
Travel for another 10 miles and join the M6 motorway. Continue until Junction 36 and leave the M6.
At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A590 (signposted Barrow-in-Furness), following the signs for Barrow and Ulverston.
After 20 miles, at the Greenodd roundabout, turn right onto the A5092 (signposted Workington and Whitehaven), and continue onto the A595 (signposted Broughton, Millom).
Remain on this road, and do not take the left turn for Millom but proceed over the brow of the hill and down the other side.
You will see a signpost for Brockwood Hall in the field on the left-hand side. Slow down and take the left-hand turn which is signposted, 'Dunningwell and Brockwood Hall'.
Follow the narrow road carefully and after about ½ mile you will see black wrought iron fencing and the entrance to Brockwood Hall. At the top of the driveway you will come to the main car park and the Manor House where you will find Reception.
