Hole in the Wall offers guests the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Wild Coast with a carefully curated braai or picnic experience.

Braai for Two – R1,200
Enjoy a perfectly prepared braai without the hassle of setup. This package includes:

  • Firewood, charcoal, firelighters, and matches
  • A high-quality braai pack
  • Pap with sauce, a fresh salad, and pudding (subject to availability)
  • A cooler bag and ice (drinks not included)

Guests may choose to have their braai set up at their unit or on the beach, with assistance from a resort staff member. For those preferring a designated braai area with benches, an additional R400 fee applies for transport and setup assistance.

Picnic for Two – R900
For a more relaxed experience, enjoy a gourmet picnic at the beach or poolside, complete with:

  • A cooler bag and ice
  • A selection of crackers, butter, jams, cheeses, biltong, dried fruit, chips, and popcorn
  • Refreshments, including one Appletizer and two bottles of water
  • A picnic backpack, blanket, glassware, crockery, and cutlery
  • An umbrella for shade

Coffee Bay and Hole in the Wall offer a great spots for shore angling, which also makes it a popular place for daring fisherman to try their luck at catching the elusive kob by night along with dorado, salmon and musselcracker, crayfish and mussels.

Visit the Coffee Shack in Coffee Bay, take a hike and enjoy a thrilling experience when you abseil down Baby Hole, a 45 metre cliff drop into the ocean. Afterwards relax under the trees or go for a swim followed by toasted sandwiches prepared on an open fire.

The amazing hiking path from Coffee Bay to Hole in the Wall traverses craggy sea cliffs and ongoing rolling green hills and takes approximately 3 hours in either direction.

Take a hike to Mapuzi Caves along the seaside cliffs where the brave can leap into the ocean from 14 metres up or relax in the natural Jacuzzi at the end of the trail. This is a beautiful trail with gorgeous views of the ocean and the rugged coastline.

The Magalies Park Splash Zone on the Magalies River is guaranteed to be a hit with the family. Featuring a colourful rainforest and safari theme set over three-stories, the splash zone includes two long slides, two shorter slides, a splash bucket, water, and mist sprayers, as well as water wheels with a half-meter deep splash pool surrounding the entire perimeter.
